YONKERS, N.Y., March 17, 2008-Aureon Laboratories, Inc. today named Ana I. Stancic chief financial officer. Stancic will be responsible for finance, corporate governance and controls, and debt and equity markets.
Stancic brings to Aureon an extensive background in the financial management of healthcare companies. Most recently, she served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at OMRIX Biopharmaceuticals. In 2004, prior to her tenure at OMRIX, Stancic joined ImClone Systems, Inc. as senior vice president of finance where she was responsible for ImClone’s finance department, information technology and internal audit. Stancic also served as vice president and controller at Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; as vice president and chief accounting officer at Ogden Corporation; and as regional chief financial officer at OmniCare, Inc.
“Aureon Laboratories is developing innovative prognostic tools to assist physicians and patients with critical information to make more informed prostate cancer treatment decisions,” said Stancic. “I look forward to playing an active role on the management team as the company prepares to introduce its next product offering later this spring.”
Stancic began her career in 1985 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the assurance practice, where she worked with international and national companies in the pharmaceutical and services industries.
