WEST DES MOINES, IA (February 13, 2017) — Aureon is proud to announce that Katie Roth, President of Aureon Staffing, has once again been named as a mentor of The Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute’s 2017 Community Connect. This is Katie’s third time being involved in Community Connect as a mentor.

Katie Roth says, “It is an honor to be selected again. I have thoroughly enjoyed and valued each and every opportunity I’ve had to be involved in the Community Connect. Throughout my life, I have been very fortunate to have had some remarkable mentors that guided me, and this is a way for me to pay it forward.”

During the five-session program, Community Connect seeks to inspire future leaders to take purposeful action in the community as a result of relationships with experienced community leaders and a curriculum that encourages discovery of personal values and motivations. Participants and mentors meet regularly in a small-group setting to ensure they have meaningful interactions and benefit from the program.

“As a mentor, I encourage participants to identify their personal values and strengths. Then, I guide them on how they can put these to the best use in the community,” says Roth. “It’s a wonderful way to inspire future leaders, as well as create meaningful mentoring connections.”
