Press Releases published December 5, 2017

WEST DES MOINES, IA DECEMBER 5, 2017— Aureon has announced that Jane Whalen, President Aureon Consulting, has elected to retire, effective December 31, 2017. Aureon is pleased to announce that Mike Rice, currently Vice President of Aureon Consulting, has been named as the new President.

“When Aureon acquired Midwest Project Partners in May 2016, we were very fortunate to bring on the expertise and client relationships of Jane Whalen and her team to Aureon,” said Ron Keller, CEO of Aureon. “We want to thank Jane for her leadership, expertise, and contributions to the business community and Aureon, and wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

Mike Rice has been with Aureon Consulting, previously Midwest Project Partners, for the past five years. He was a founding partner of Midwest Technical Partners, where he was responsible for the operations, business development, and strategic growth of the company. Prior to joining Midwest Technical Partners, he spent nearly 14 years with an international IT consulting firm, in various positions such as recruiting, business development, and local/regional leadership.

“In his current position, Mike has had a role in establishing the vision for Aureon Consulting. Additionally, his leadership style and experience in consulting, business development, and the business community make him the right candidate for this position,” said Keller. “While any successor will have big shoes to fill, we felt the best choice would be someone who has benefited from working directly with Jane and who has the same dedication to our clients.”

Mike will continue his role as the Vice President of Aureon Consulting through 2017 and will officially assume all responsibilities as the President of Aureon Consulting on January 1, 2018.
