Aureon Shows the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Some Puppy Love

Employees of Aureon hold a donation drive to replenish supplies on the Fetch List.

WEST DES MOINES, IA (February 22, 2017) — Earlier this month, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) found they were running low on their supply of peanut butter and hot dogs, a staple for many of their resident canines. An Aureon employee and fellow animal lover, follows the ARL and saw their request. She wanted to help and submitted a request to T3 Cares, Aureon’s internal corporate social responsibility committee. The T3 Cares committee reviewed and approved the request.

During the week of Valentine’s Day, Aureon held a “Puppy Love” donation drive at their corporate headquarters to help replenish the stock of peanut butter and hot dogs at the ARL. Aureon employees were asked to bring in donations throughout the week. Then on Friday, February 17, a group of Aureon employees dropped off the about 50 pounds of peanut butter and 30 pounds of hot dogs to the ARL.

The ARL, who is a client of Aureon’s, was very touched by the donation. “The ARL has been a great client for Aureon. We wanted to show them (ARL) that Aureon not only supports them as a valued partner, but also supports their cause and we are focused on their success as an organization,” says Julie Kennedy, Aureon Client Account Manager. “We look forward to providing future support to the ARL through donations, volunteerism, etc.”
