PMI’s Professional Development Day is an annual conference providing local and regional project management professionals with training to augment their skills and continuing education credits towards further certifications.

Both the PMI Institute Central Iowa Chapter and PDD play an important role in Aureon Consulting’s success, core values, and fostering a progressive project management community in our market.

Holly Veeder, Vice President, Aureon Consulting, noted about her conference experience, “I always feel reenergized and excited after attending this event. The lineup of speakers and content is top notch. I take away fresh ideas that will allow Aureon Consulting to continue to drive the evolution of project management within the industry and strive to remain the consultant destination for project managers.”

For nearly 20 years, Aureon Consulting has worked to support and enhance the role of PMI and project managers across the state, elevating us as a market leader for project management. We are dedicated to our partnership with PMI and committed to helping top talent in our community continuously grow.

Project Manager Joel agreed with the significance of the event stating, “This is the single most important event of the year for project and program managers wanting to maintain our certifications, networking with individuals and organizations, and learning vital topics vital to our profession.”

Check out some of the top takeaways from Aureon attendees:

“As an Agile practitioner, I gathered several good Scaled Agile ideas that can be applied to projects and programs. Another session provided ways to better understand the diversity among our project teams and helpful suggestions to build upon this to improve team interaction and project results.” – Joel, Project Manager

“Each speaker encouraged broader thinking by discussing life, faith, family, health, even politics to a degree. In doing so, the audience had fun while reflecting on what matters most to each of us.” – Bryan, Project Manager

“Some leadership attributes that I have tried to incorporate were reaffirmed in a breakout session with Life IQ. We learned about creating a compelling vision, what a good project leader needs to be successful, and managing complex change.” – Sara, Project Manager
