Scholarship Overview
The Aureon Scholarship for Technology Students is available to students pursuing a technology-related course of study after high school graduation.
The program will award a total of $5,000:
- 4 awards of $1,000
- 2 awards of $500
The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. on March 1, 2025.
Eligibility
- Iowa high school junior or graduating senior in the 2024-2025 school year.
- A citizen or permanent resident of the United States or one of its official territories.
- Accepted and plan to enroll at an Iowa-based, accredited four-year college or university, community college, or vocational-technical school and be pursuing a technology–related course of study.
- Have a minimum 3.00 GPA. A copy of a recent transcript may be requested.
- Eligible communities: Albia, Altoona, Ames, Ankeny, Audubon, Clive, Davenport, Des Moines, Dyersville, Fort Dodge, Grimes, Grinnell, Johnston, Newton, Norwalk, Pella, Pleasant Hill, Spencer, Tama, Toledo, Urbandale, Waterloo, Waukee, West Des Moines, Windsor Heights.
Application Instructions
Complete a scholarship application in full, including the following:
- A short essay describing why you are pursuing a technology-related field (1,000 words or less).
- A summary of your high school and community service activities, including leadership roles (500 words or less).

To be considered a candidate for the Aureon Technology Scholarship, please complete and submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. on March 1, 2025.
Scholarship awards will be announced by late May 2025. Winners will be notified by phone, email, or letter.
All students meeting the eligibility requirements and submitting a complete application will be considered.
