The Aureon Cloud WAN Solution

The Cloud WAN Controller is the central hub or “brain” of the Cloud WAN solution. Located in the Aureon Data Center, the Controller provides key Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) functionality. The Controller and Cloud WAN solution work to:

  • Control and orchestrate all satellite and edge SD-WAN locations.
  • Manage the services and application policies across the WAN; Aureon works to ensure your critical applications are treated with care.
  • Protect your entire WAN by utilizing integrated firewall services, securing your entire WAN network from the internet (many out-of-the-box SD-WAN solutions rely on you to protect the network).
  • Enhance network security with a centralized, protected ingress and egress to the internet.
  • Provide timing and synchronization for the entire SD-WAN.
  • Allow satellite users or small branch sites to utilize a lower cost, single WAN connection solution to connect to the SD-WAN.

Cloud WAN Satellite Site

For satellite locations, the Controller will connect to the satellite (or edge) site location. Our dedicated Aureon team will set up a secure, customized network for you, whether it’s a single satellite user location or corporate headquarters that needs a highly available solution. Satellite network connections can start at one location and scale to as many as you need.
