Aureon Announces Recipients of the 2020 Scholarship Program

Aureon has announced the recipients of its 2020 Scholarship Program totaling $14,000. Twelve deserving high school students from across Iowa were selected to receive varying amounts for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and their community.

DES MOINES, IA – Aureon has announced the recipients of its 2020 Scholarship Program. Fourteen deserving high school students from across the state of Iowa were selected to receive varying scholarship amounts for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and their community.

The Aureon Scholarship Program is proud to support outstanding students who plan to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Aureon has awarded nearly $100,000 in total scholarship funds since being established in 2003, and these scholarships are funded in partnership with our ITCs to students in rural Iowa communities. In this spirit of strengthening and empowering Iowa’s future workforce, Aureon Consulting initiated their first year by contributing a percentage of their Clients’ payments to award six recipients.

The recipients of the 2020 Aureon Scholarship Program are as follows:

  • Lauren Beckman from Danville, Iowa is receiving a $3,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Danville Mutual Telephone Company. Lauren plans to attend Kirkwood Community College then transfer to Iowa State University.
  • Brayden Beinhart from Indianola, Iowa is receiving a $500 Aureon Scholarship. Brayden plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Seth Entriken from Adel, Iowa is receiving a $2,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Minburn Communications. Seth plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Taveon C. Fairchild from Ankeny, Iowa is receiving a $500 Aureon Scholarship. Taveon plans to attend the University of Iowa.
  • Brian Christopher Forret from Calamus, Iowa is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with F&B Communications. Brian plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Sheridan Freidrickson from Bondurant is receiving a $500 Aureon Scholarship. Sheridan plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College.
  • Grace Meter from Ankeny, Iowa is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship. Grace plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Bryan Pope from Underwood, Iowa is receiving a $2,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Marne Elk Horn Telephone Company. Bryan plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Molly Simmons from Yale, Iowa is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Panora Telco. Molly plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Gabriella Marie Snyder from Adel, Iowa is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship. Gabriella plans to attend the University of Iowa.
  • Cassandra Swacker from Urbandale, Iowa is receiving a $500 Aureon Scholarship. Cassandra plans to attend Iowa State University.
  • Sarah Stewart from North Liberty, Iowa is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with South Slope Cooperative Communications. Sarah plans to attend Iowa State University.
