Aureon Announces Recipients of the 2021 Scholarship Program
Eleven deserving high school students from across Iowa were selected to receive scholarships totaling $14,500 for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and their community.

DES MOINES, IA – Aureon has announced the recipients of its 2021 Scholarship Program. Eleven deserving high school students from across Iowa were selected to receive varying scholarship awards for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and their community.
The Aureon Scholarship Program is proud to support outstanding students who plan to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Aureon has awarded over $100,000 in total scholarship funds since being established in 2003. In this spirit of strengthening and empowering Iowa’s future workforce, Aureon awarded eleven scholarships as part of this year’s scholarship program.

The recipients of the 2021 Aureon Scholarship Program are as follows:
- Alexander Chambers from Clive, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship. Alexander plans to attend Iowa State University.
- Aubree Freshly from Indianola, Iowa, is receiving a $500 Aureon Scholarship. Aubree plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).
- Bailey Goodman from Akron, Iowa, is receiving a $2,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Premier Communications. Bailey plans to attend the University of Iowa.
- Shekynah Haworth from Panora, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Panora Telco. Shekynah plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa.
- Hazen Loan from Elkader, Iowa, is receiving a $3,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Alpine Communications. Hazen plans to attend Iowa State University.
- Tara Munjuluri from West Des Moines, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship. Tara plans to attend Iowa State University.
- Alexander Romig from Grimes, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship. Alexander plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College.
- Macy Schanbacher from Atkins, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with ATC Communications. Macy plans to attend Iowa State University.
- Henry Shires from West Des Moines, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship. Henry plans to attend Iowa State University.
- Amber Swart from Kalona, Iowa, is receiving a $1,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with Kalona Cooperative Technology Company (KCTC). Amber plans to attend the University of Iowa.
- Dallas Wittenburg from Readlyn, Iowa, is receiving a $2,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with RTC Communications. Dallas plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College.
