When it comes to an excellent streaming experience, Aureon knows fast and reliable access to content is key. We are pleased to announce that our network now connects directly to Amazon.

Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer and cloud services provider and is also the home to significant video and music content. Each day during peak times, Aureon customers are now passing over 25 Gigabit of traffic directly with Amazon, which is the equivalent of Customers downloading 6,000 songs at the same time. This traffic could be Aureon Customers shopping online or streaming Amazon content such as Amazon Prime Video, Audible.com, or Amazon’s music service.

This direct connection enables Aureon Clients to have faster access and reduced latency when accessing Amazon’s networks and content. In addition, this new direct connection further enhances Aureon’s Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) offering by adding to the list of benefits which include network reliability, redundancy, and support. The direct connection to the Amazon joins a growing list of Aureon direct connections, which includes Netflix, Apple, Akamai, Facebook, Twitch, and others.
